"Patience" was created as a music video project in my junior year at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts. I recorded and mixed Eva Frishberg's original song and created this music video with her. I directed, color-corrected and edited the project, Joshua Huval worked as my cinematographer, and Eva Frishberg and Yuki Monestere were the onscreen talent. 

  • Won Gold Key Award in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards 2010

  • Won Second place Music Video at the Satellite Center Video and Animation Festival 2010

"This Too Shall Pass" was created for a music video contest sponsored by the alternative rock band OK Go, Tipitina's and WTUL New Orleans. We were tasked with creating a one shot video created in the style of OK Go's GRAMMY Award-winning music videos. The video was produced from start to finish over the course of one week, and it was filmed in one take.

 Joshua Huval, Jeff Bruno and I wrote the video and built the set, I shot, edited and color-corrected the video, and Joshua Huval and Jeff Bruno were the onscreen talent.

  • Won OK Go-Inspired Video Competition sponsored by WTUL New Orleans and Tipitina’s

"The Making of Wolves" was created as a teaser for the original track "Wolves" by the band Calligan. During recording of the track in my home studio, I shot the video, color-corrected it and edited it for Calligan to use on their social media. Zachary Feaster was the engineer on the project, and Calligan consists of Kristen Castro and Jessica Coppens. 

EPKs/Documentaries

This piece was created as part of an Electronic Press Kit for Digital Marketing Strategies for the Music Business. I shot and edited the footage, and I also moderated the artist interview.

Vibrating Strings was my documentary project during my sophomore year at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts. I wrote, shot and edited this project.

Event Aftermovies

Rock the Hollow was an event created and put on by current and former Middle Tennessee State University students. This particular video was created as a performance showcase for the electronic dance music artist Zach Teiser. I shot and edited the project. 

Das Hoüüse was a house party destination in Murfreesboro, TN. This was the first themed party that they put on for the back to school season. This project was also created for the artist Zach Teiser's DJ performance, as well as showcasing the fun, vibrant house party culture in Murfreesboro. 

Narrative

This piece was created as a midterm project for Themes in Literature and Culture: The Grotesque. We were tasked with creating a piece of media that explored elements of the grotesque. My classmate Noa-Lindsey Medford and I wrote the project and co-produced it. I was the cinematographer and editor, Noa Lindsey-Medford was the onscreen talent, and Zach Teiser created the soundtrack.
